Peggy Richards started her training in the healing arts after graduating from Scottsdale High School while completing her BFA in Dance. It was a natural blend to start learning and providing bodywork to fellow dancers while attending college and working as a Makeup artist in the film industry to support herself. Structural Integration - Rolfing was the first technique that Peggy was drawn to learn about when a Ballet teacher recommended she have some session work for a trick knee. After having success with the pain completely disappearing after going through the Rolfing series of 10, Peggy received additional work after a car accident and decided to make Rolfing her main focus in learning bodywork. She attended the first pilot course offerend in Rolfing at the New York School for Rolfing and went onto selection committee to study Rolf Movement and then Rolfing at the Rolf Institute. At that time, the minimum age requirement to be allowed entrance into the training was 25 and Peggy was not old enough yet.

After completing her BFA in Dance and working as a Massage therapist, Peggy completed her basic and advanced Structural Integration certifications from the Guild for Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado, and Kauai, Hawaii. She has recently completed a Rolfing Cranial Workshop with Sharon Hancoff Wheeler in Scottsdale and is providing her services at An Oasis for Healing in Mesa, AZ as well as in private practice in Scottsdale. Peggy opened Dreams in Beauty Day Spa in Sandpoint, Idaho in 1988 after attending a two-year training program in Indian Shamanism healing. She continues to manage that business while in Arizona, providing her clients with session work on a regular basis.
